The fourth movement from Craig Curry’s five-movement Jazz Mass, Sanctus is a quiet and moving anthem of worship. Sung entirely in English, the text uses a translation of the Sanctus (Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts) and Benedictus texts (Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord). This jazz ballad features alto soloist and lush harmonies throughout.
